The foundation of our grant schemes is our Undergraduate Tuition Fee Grants which provide funding for individuals from low-income households who want to study for a first degree at university, or a second degree in limited subject areas.

The scheme has closed for Academic Year 24/25, but will reopen for Academic Year 25/26 on 1 June 2025

In Academic Year 24/25 we are offering Vacation Scholarships which encourage undergraduate students to develop their research skills by undertaking a short research project in the summer vacation, under the supervision of an established academic.

The scheme opened to new applications on 6 December 2024 and closes on 14th Feb.

In recent years, the Trust has offered support to Early Career researchers aiming to develop a new line of research through our Research Incentive Grants.

This scheme is currently closed to new applicants whilst we review our grant programmes.
