Research Incentive Grants – Call for Proposals
After a 2 year interruption, the Carnegie Trust is delighted to announce that its Research Incentive Grant scheme for Early Career Researchers will re-open to new applications this Autumn.
The RIG scheme will continue to support Early Career Researchers who wish to undertake, a short research project, either of a stand-alone nature or in the form of an initial study leading to a more extensive project. The principal criteria for the award of a RIG are that the planned research is of excellent quality, will enable the principal investigator to develop a new project or line of research, and will lead to high quality outputs and outcomes.
As our income is yet to return to its pre-pandemic levels, there will be only one round of funding available in AY 2022-23 with a closing date of 30th November 2022. Our online application portal will open by 15th September 2022. Please visit the RIG scheme page for more details.
